What you’ll do at ASI

– Maintain and manage a number of websites and software platforms, optimising their usage, and undertaking regular updates and backups (50%)

– Work across all areas of IT at the institute – from security and cloud computing to implementing the latest EdTech solutions (30%)

– Liaise with account managers and industry experts to stay up-to-date with best practices and provide ongoing training and support to staff members and new hires (10%)

– Take part in ‘big-picture’ discussions, looking for technology integration opportunities and contributing towards the institute’s continued successes (10%)

 

What we’re looking for: Essential

Minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline (maths or computer science degree preferred)

A proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and remain calm under pressure

Possess the ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision

A sincere passion for helping to build Al-Salam Institute

 

What we’re looking for: Desirable

A great team player

Previous experience in a similar role (or within the education sector)

An interest in marketing and data analytics

Familiarity with Shaykh Akram Nadwi and his approach to Islamic education
