Arabic Refresher Course
Al-Salam Institute will be teaching a live online 4-day intensive Arabic Refresher Course this coming July. This course has been designed for those who have studied Arabic in the past and need to refresh and revise their knowledge of the Arabic language.
Course tutors will cover key rules of Arabic grammar and morphology in order for students to reconnect with their previous studies. Additionally, students will practise the application of these rules through a variety of in-class activities and homework exercises. With many students losing touch with their Arabic language skills, this course provides an excellent opportunity to refresh your memory and allow you to resume your studies.
For students looking to study the Quran Study Programme or Arabic Immersion Year at ASI, this refresher course is the perfect preparatory course to study during the summer. As such, students who complete the refresher course and successfully pass the QSP or AIY placement test will have the refresher course fees deducted from their QSP or AIY fees.
Course Information
The course will be delivered through live online interactive classes over 4 days in the form of a double weekend intensive course. Further information will be provided upon enrolment.

Prerequisites
Students must have completed Arabic study at beginners level in the past, for example by completing Madina Books 1 and 2.
Students are required to complete the relevant placement test prior to enrolling onto the Arabic Refresher Course.
Teaching
The course will cover key rules of Arabic grammar and morphology, allowing students to refresh and enhance their Arabic knowledge. Students will also practise the application of these rules through a variety of in-class activities and homework exercises.
Teaching will take place live online over the course of two weekends.
All course materials will be provided digitally.
Fees
£300
This is deductible from the fees of the Quran Study Programme or Arabic Immersion Year for students wishing to progress onto either course.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Arabic Refresher Course, students must first complete the application form for either the Quran Study Programme or the Arabic Immersion Year. They must then complete the respective placement tests, which will be emailed to them upon submission of their application.
The Arabic Refresher Course will be offered to students who require it. This will be on the basis of their performance in their placement test.
After completing this course, students will take another placement test for the Quran Study Programme or Arabic Immersion Year, depending on which they have applied for. Completing the Arabic Refresher Course should enable students to successfully enrol onto either of these courses. Thereafter, the Arabic Refresher Course fees will be deducted from their course fees.
