Islamic Heritage Tour:

Bosnia 2026

Bosnia Heritage Tour with Shaykh Akram Nadwi

Join ASI and Shaykh Akram Nadwi on an inspiring 8-day Heritage Tour of Bosnia in May 2026, exploring faith, history, and culture in one of the heartlands of Muslim Europe.

Bosnia is a land deeply rooted in Islamic history, where centuries of faith, scholarship, and resilience have shaped a rich and enduring Muslim heritage. From the arrival of Islam during the Ottoman era to the flourishing of mosques, madrasas, and scholars, Bosnia has long stood at the crossroads of East and West. Its history bears witness to profound cultural exchanges, periods of great learning, and powerful stories of perseverance in the face of hardship, making it one of Europe’s most meaningful Islamic landscapes.

Join us this May 2026 for a unique educational and spiritual journey through the heart of Bosnia. This 8-day journey blends guided exploration with classes by Shaykh Akram on tafsir, tazkiyah, and reflections on the meaning of hardship and suffering in Islam. The tour provides an opportunity to engage with the story of Islam in Europe, rooted in centuries of indigenous Bosnian Muslim tradition and lived faith.

The itinerary has been designed with quality accommodation, ease of transport and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in mind. Whether you are drawn by history, nature, spirituality or simply the desire to travel with purpose and like-minded companionship, ASI’s heritage tour offers a rich and meaningful experience for all.

More than just a trip, we intend for this to be a journey that stays with you long after you return home.
