Residentials
Each year at ASI we endeavour to take our students on residential study intensives. Our annual Student Retreats provide our enrolled ISP students a chance to connect with their teachers and fellow students, allowing for hybrid learning throughout the year. The annual Arabic Summer School enables beginner and intermediate Arabic language students to truly immerse themselves in the Arabic language in the blessed Makkah al-Mukarramah. The Sacred Sciences Journey provide once in a lifetime opportunities for students to follow in the footsteps of our intellectual forebears, travelling in the pursuit of sacred knowledge and acquiring ‘ijazāt in classical texts from the ‘ulamā’. The Knowledge Retreat allows students to take a break from their routines and explore lands rich in Islamic history and significance.
Knowledge Retreat
The Knowledge Retreat nourishes both mind and heart, bringing Islamic teachings to life. Participants will have the chance to reflect on and internalise these teachings, studying an intensive syllabus on the Quran, hadith, and spirituality with Shaykh Akram Nadwi.
Sacred Sciences Journey
At Al-Salam we seek to reconnect students to their scholarly lineage, taking them to different countries all over the world in order to sit with and benefit from a number of notable scholars.
Student Retreat
As part of our Islamic Scholarship Programmes curriculum, we have introduced both a Winter and Spring Student Retreat to allow students and teachers to come together and spend quality time together in Suhba.
Arabic Summer School
Al-Salam Institute will be taking a group of students to Makkah, Saudi Arabia, for a spoken Arabic programme, hosted by the Centre for Da’wah and Cooperation, Makkah.
