The Meaning of Supplication
يدعو الجائع أن يطعمه الله تعالى فلا ينزل عليه طعام من السماء، ويدعو الأعزب أن يهبه الله ولدا فلا يظفر بمراده، وكذلك يدعو الداعي ويدعو فلا تتحقق أمانيه، فيظن أن الدعاء أوهن الوسائل، وأوهى الأسباب، وقد رأينا الكفار والمشركين يسخرون من الدعاء، وضعاف الإيمان يدخل قلوبهم الريب، وكثير من المسلمين لا يلجأون إلى الدعاء إلا عادة ورسمًا، وليس هناك إلا عدد قليل ممن يعلم معنى الدعاء فيدعو الله تعالى دعاء المؤمن بالله المتوكل عليه الملتجئ إليه. فما هو معنى الدعاء إذن؟
